IAC to join with Enmore Muslim community for Eid Fest

The Indian Action Committee (IAC) is pleased to announce that the organization will be holding, in recognition of the culmination of the Holy Month of Ramadan, once again, an Eid Fest which will be held at Enmore, East Coast Demerara, on Sunday, 17^th June 2018.

This IAC program is being done in collaboration with the Enmore Estate Masjid and will cater for approximately 300 children from the community.

The IAC had first held this event in 2008 and continued the tradition over the years.

This IAC initiative is intended to bring the Muslim community in the Enmore area together to educate and remind them about the significance of Ramadan and the moral benefits involved in its commemoration. The awareness will be done through Islamic prayers by Imam Jai Hattim, the recital of the Holy Quran and its fundamental teachings, reflections on the holy month, motivational Islamic beliefs and discussions, among others.

The IAC is thankful for the material support given by the private sector businesses to execute this program.
