IAC to host public symposium on the “Life and Works of Dr Cheddi Jagan”

The Indian Action Committee (IAC) will be hosting a symposium under the theme of “Reflections on the Life and Works of Dr Cheddi B. Jagan” to be held at the National Library on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, commencing at 5 pm.

The IAC has planned this event to coincide with the 100^th birth anniversary of the former president of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana (1992-1997) and Premier of British Guiana (1961-1964).

The IAC is cognizant of Dr Jagan’s invaluable contributions to Guyana and Guyanese, and on this occasion, the organization believes that it is an opportune time for all to reflect and commemorate the rich legacy he left for all of us.

The panelists include: (1) Dr Samuel Hinds, former President and Prime Minister of Guyana; (2) Mr Mohabir Anil Nandlall, former Attorney General and PPP MP; (3) Mr Collin Croal, PPP Member of Parliament; (4) Mr Vickram Bharrat, PPP Member of Parliament; (5) and Mr Ramon Gaskin, commentator.
