The Indian Action Committee (IAC) is deeply saddened by the passing of Comrade Komal Chand of the People’s Progressive Party, a trade union leader of immense standing especially in the sugar industry having led GAWU for many decades, and a comrade-in -arms of Dr. Cheddi Jagan.
