IAC 16th “Grand Annual Cultural Mela” set for May 5th at Albion

The Indian Action Committee (IAC) wishes to invite the general public to its 16th Grand Annual Cultural Mela on Sunday, 5th May 2019 (a national holiday), at the Albion Sports Complex, to observe the 181st Anniversary of Indian Arrival in Guyana.

The Mela is scheduled for Sunday, 5th May 2019 (a national holiday), at the Albion Sports Complex, Berbice, starting at 15:00 hrs.

There will be live band performances by Shakti Strings Band, and the Sound System and Stage Lightings and effects by Crown Vibes. There will also be cultural performances showcasing the contributions of Indians to Guyana, through singing, classical dances, cultural exhibitions and lots more, in addition to food, fun and games, and other attractions.

The event is non-alcoholic, family friendly with police security, and free admission.

The IAC has extended invitations to the Government and the Opposition to attend and participate.

Moreover, the event will have massive promotions and deals offered by GTT and other sponsors.
